Roetzel's Ned Milenkovich Elected Vice-Chair of the Illinois State Board of Pharmacy
Roetzel & Andress LPA is pleased to announce that Ned Milenkovich, Partner and Practice Group Manager of Roetzel's Health, Drug & Pharmacy Law group, has been elected by the Illinois State Board of Pharmacy to serve as the Board's Vice-Chair, a position in which he has served on two prior occasions. Mr. Milenkovich will hold the position for a 1-year term.
(Chicago, IL — November 18, 2014) – Roetzel & Andress LPA is pleased to announce that Ned Milenkovich, Partner and Practice Group Manager of Roetzel’s Health, Drug & Pharmacy Law group, has been elected by the Illinois State Board of Pharmacy to serve as the Board’s Vice-Chair,a position in which he has served on two prior occasions. Mr. Milenkovich will hold the position for a 1-year term.
“I am looking forward to serving both the Board, as well as the public, in this capacity once again,” said Mr. Milenkovich. “The Board’s role in setting standards for the professional conduct, discipline and qualifications of pharmacist candidates and licensees in Illinois is an important one, and I expect to work with the Chair, and the rest of the Board’s members, in maintaining the high standards of pharmacists in the state of Illinois.”
Mr. Milenkovich focuses his legal practice on medical device, drug and pharmacy law. His practice encompasses federal (including FDA and DEA related matters) and state regulatory compliance, licensing, transactions and dispute resolution. Mr. Milenkovich has represented clients in all segments of the drug supply chain, including manufacturers, wholesale distributors, third-party logistics providers and retailers, in addition to pharmacy benefit managers, pharmacy technology companies, prescription management companies and physician practices. His broad-based experience also includes representation of Medicare Part D matters, 340B issues, HIPAA compliance, prescription drug monitoring programs, drug diversion issues, drug pedigree and compounding issues.
Mr. Milenkovich is a frequent lecturer at both legal and pharmaceutical industry events. In addition, he writes a monthly legal/regulatory news column for the drug and pharmacy news magazine, Drug Topics. Mr. Milenkovich earned his J.D. from the The John Marshall Law School, cum laude, his Pharm.D., with honors, from the University of Illinois, and his B.S. in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University.
