Rite Aid Joins Pharmacy Network for UnivisionFarmacia

NEW YORK -- AUGUST 7, 2012 -- Univision Enterprises, in partnership with EnvisionRxOptions and HolaDoctor, today announced that Rite Aid, one of the nation’s leading drugstore chains, has been added to the pharmacy network for UnivisionFarmacia, the leading prescription discount program for Hispanics. Effective immediately, all Rite Aid stores nationwide will accept the UnivisionFarmacia card which provides prescription discounts to members of the program.

Members of the UnivisionFarmacia program, receive discounts of up to 85 percent on generic medications with an average savings of 40 percent across brand and generic drugs combined. The program has already saved participants more than $600,000 on their prescriptions from the cost that would normally have been charged by the pharmacies.
