One fact to share with patients is that there is no magic solution or quick fix for losing weight, Jennifer L. Costello, PharmD, BCPS, BC-ADM, ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, advises.
Dr. Costello suggests reminding patients to focus on diet and lifestyle modifications as both a viable alternative to weight-loss medications or as an enhancement to the medication regimen.
