- Describe the current incidence and prevalence of breast cancer among American women.
- Examine factors associated with increased risk of breast cancer, including lifestyle, genetic factors, and hormone replacement therapy.
- Examine factors associated with decreased risk of breast cancer, focusing on chemoprevention strategies.
- Discuss implications for pharmacists in regard to addressing common patient questions on breast cancer risks and providing evidence-based information on chemoprevention and use of dietary supplements.
