Pharmacy Hero: Pharmacist Keeps Critical Care Medications Stocked, Minimizes Interaction Between Employees

Today, we’re celebrating Courtney Mechler, PharmD, RPh, pharmacy director at Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, Texas. During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Mechler has worked hard to keep critical care medications stocked and available at different places around the hospital to ensure patient safety.

Mechler has also cared for the other staff members at the hospital by organizing a schedule to minimize unnecessary interactions, as well as doing all the normal things her job requires.
