Do you know a student pharmacist who demonstrates extraordinary spirit and passion for the profession? Nominate him or her for the Next-Generation PharmacistTM 2015 Future Pharmacist award.

Do you know a student pharmacist who demonstrates extraordinary spirit and passion for the profession? Nominate him or her for the Next-Generation Pharmacist TM 2015 Future Pharmacist award before April 14, 2015.

Eligible candidates will be third-year or higher pharmacy students who have impressive academic achievements, in conjunction with 1 or more the following criteria: industry advocacy, patient advocacy, technology innovation, civic leadership, and/or environmental stewardship with regard to pharmacy.

Last year’s Next Generation Pharmacist TM event was held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. Laura Vollmer, a 2015 PharmD candidate from the Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, took home the 2014 Future Pharmacist award.

Saswat Kabisatpathy, PharmD, of the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and Megan E. Saunders, PharmD, of the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy in Laramie, Wyoming, were the honorees.

This year’s Next-Generation Pharmacist TM awards will be celebrated on August 6, 2015, in Orlando, Florida. Each finalist is invited as a guest of the founding sponsors.
