How PSAOs Support Independent Pharmacies

PSAO supports community pharmacies through patient access by unlocking the right payer agreements.

Crystal Lennartz, VP, General Manager of Health Mart Atlas, spoke to Pharmacy Times about her session at McKesson ideaShare 2022, titled "Pharmacy Beyond the Pill: Clinical Payment Services and Reimbursement."

Crystal Lennartz: PSAO is a pharmacy services administrative organization. We support community pharmacies through patient access by a unlocking the right payer agreements. So, access to those agreements, assistance with credentialing to be a part of those payer networks, as well as central payment. This is for not only prescription products but also for pharmacist services like immunizations and medication therapy management.
