Health Mart Pharmacies and Meeting Pharmacy Expectations

Nancy Lyons, VP, Chief Pharmacy Officer, Healthmart, McKesson, spoke to Pharmacy Times about pharmacy technicians and their role post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Lyons: It's really been a challenge for them with the labor market the way that it is. And honestly, a shortage of alternative pharmacy technicians. They need to train them, they need to add to the workforce, and maybe take that really high talent person who might work in the front of the store and make them ready to take on those more clinical responsibilities.
