Expert: Marketing Pharmacy Services is Critical to Growth, Community Recognition

Although marketing may seem intimidating, pharmacy owners should jump in and discover what works best for their pharmacy.

In an interview with Pharmacy Times, Nina Klemm, managing performance specialist with Pharmacy Development Services, said that although marketing may seem intimidating, pharmacy owners should jump in and discover what works best for their pharmacy.

Digital marketing, in particular, offers the greatest free opportunity to get in front of patients and establish recognition within the community, Klemm said. She also discussed how the new roles of pharmacists change the need for marketing, key things to consider when beginning marketing, and how marketing can help establish pharmacies as pillars of the community.
