PRESS RELEASE

Avella Specialty Pharmacy

has once again been named in Inc. 5000 Magazine’s list of the fastest-growing companies in the country. In fact, the specialty pharmacy has been recognized with this distinction every year since the inception of the magazine’s list in 2006.

Not only has Avella maintained impressive financial growth over the past decade, it has also re-invested some of this revenue into new technologies such as a mobile patient app and provider portal along with an FDA-compliant clean room facility. Together, these innovations help ensure that patients are benefiting from safe, high quality treatment and that both patients and providers have the tools they need to improve health outcomes.

“We are honored to again be recognized within such an impressive list of rapidly growing organizations,” said Rebecca M. Shanahan, CEO of Avella. “At Avella, we attribute a great deal of this success to our clinical and service-oriented approach. We continue to focus on providing personalized care one-on-one with our patients alongside unsurpassed clinical excellence that helps every individual achieve the best health possible.”

Inc. measures US-based, privately held, for-profit and independent companies’ growth over a 3-year period from 2011 to 2014. Companies recognized by Inc. Magazine must meet criteria pertaining to revenue growth, and Avella displayed 142% over the last three years.
