ASHP Midyear Kicks Off

ASHP officials took time to recognize some of their own.

Thousands of pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy leaders packed into the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando this morning to recognize some special members of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

ASHP officials took time to recognize some of their own. Anita Lonesome, who is the senior production manager with the publication sand drug information systems office, and Maryam Mohasel, who is the managing editor, manuscript development with AJHP were awarded the CEO awards for staff excellence.

Marianne F. Ivey, PharmD, MPH, FASHP, with the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinatti was awarded the Donald E. Francke Medal, which honors pharmacists who have made "significant international contributions to advance pharmacy practice."
