Alexandria, VA — The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) has announced the agenda and keynote speakers for the 2016 ASCP Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held November 4-6, 2016 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. Opening General Session: Ignite Change!

Kathy B. Dempsey, President of Keep Shedding! Inc., is an award-winning author, keynote speaker, and recognized change expert. Kathy will ignite attendees to “SHED for Success” by empowering them with practical tools to adapt quicker and get results.

Industry Insiders Panel Discussion

Within this dynamic panel discussion, experts will explore where pharmacists can have a positive impact with respect to quality care and cost expectations. Attendees will hear lessons learned by individuals at the forefront of data collection and utilization, financial benchmarking, post-acute care delivery/coordination, and eventual transition/support to enable seniors to reach their highest level of independence.

A Chat with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

This conference's educational activities are designed for consultant and dispensing pharmacists who care for older adults. Other health care professionals are encouraged to attend.; while ASCP awards only continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit, non-pharmacist attendees may submit CPE to their respective professional boards for consideration.
