In a move recommended by the state?s pharmacyboard, New Mexico is now requiring anyone who picks updrugs for another person to present government-issuedphoto identification, such as a driver?s license or state IDcard. It has been reported that attempts by individuals topick up prescriptions for others have dropped by 70%since the policy went into effect in the state January 1.
