OMACOR AND AMICAR STILL ARE BEING CONFUSED
Reliant Pharmaceuticals Inc has warned pharmacistsabout recent confusion between its Omacor(omega-3-acid ethyl esters) capsules and XanodynePharmaceuticals Inc's Amicar (aminocaproic acid)tablets. Reliant issued a similar warning in November 2005. The companysaid that it was developing a "shelf talker" for pharmacists "to helpprevent any more medication errors." For more information, visitwww.omacorrx.com.
