PDX Acquires Ateb Application

PDX-Rx.com has acquired Ateb Inc's new java-based distributed software application. PDXRx. com is a leading pharmacy-systems supplier, and Ateb Inc is an innovative provider of standalone workflow technologies. As part of the agreement, the Ateb application, with a primary focus on the in-store portion of the pharmacy system, will be combined with the next-generation workflow engine, central patient profile, and relational database components of the Rx.com Enterprise Pharmacy System.

The 2 companies also have formed a strategic alliance whereby PDX-Rx.com will begin integrating Ateb's core applications into the PDX Legacy Pharmacy System and the Rx.com Enterprise Pharmacy System. Ateb and Rx.com will jointly market the integrated products.
