
Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, estimated to affect up to 4 million Americans, is a leading cause of end-stage liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver transplant.
Jennifer Andres received her PharmD from Temple and completed a PGY1 residency at the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Following residency, she joined the faculty at PCOM in Georgia while working as a clinical specialist for an internal medicine team at the Atlanta VA. She returned to Temple University as a faculty member in 2014. She currently teaches the therapeutics of hepatitis to third-year pharmacy students and has a clinic in this therapeutic area.
