Jim Kirby, PharmD, BCPS, CDE: Preventive care services are anything that we can offer our customers beyond just dispensing of medications to help them keep well and prevent chronic disease or prevent it from progressing. It often entails screenings or vaccinations, but could even go as far as nutrition advice or physical activity goals—anything like that to help them live a healthier life.
