Upcoming NCPA Events for Pharmacy Teams: September and October 2026

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Sept. 9, 2026) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming online events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:

• Sept. 9 – Growing Your Services Through Compounded BHRT, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. As demand for personalized care continues to grow, this webinar will explore the clinical role of compounded bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and how it can support patient care in the community pharmacy setting. • Sept. 10 – Navigating LTC Pharmacy Audits: 2026 Trends, Risks, and Strategies for Success, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Long-term care pharmacies face growing scrutiny as PBMs tighten audit processes. Explore key LTC audit trends and complexities, including considerations for LTC pharmacy at home and high-risk audit categories, and learn practical approaches to enhance compliance and optimize outcomes. • Sept. 17 – Medication Safety in Action: Implementing Disposal Programs in Community Pharmacy, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Pharmacies are uniquely positioned to offer effective proper medication and delivery device disposal to the patients and community members they serve, especially when implemented in a sustainable way. • Oct. 12 – Registration deadline for the NCPA/CPESN® Med Sync Fellowship. Learn to implement a fully operational appointment-based med sync program with confidence, consistency, and measurable results. This nine-month, comprehensive program includes a blend of on-demand learning and live support, and can help facilitate participation in the new ACCESS to Pharmacy Care program, an NCPA initiative administered by CPESN® in partnership with GamePlan Medical, a CMS ACCESS participant. • Registration is open for the Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs being held in Kansas City, Mo., ahead of the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention. Learn more and register for this year’s offerings, which are:

• Registration is open for the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention and Expo. The convention, which will be held Oct. 3-6 in Kansas City, Mo., is the premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams. This year’s registration includes access to a special new workshop — How To Wow Customers With Small Changes That Pay Off Big — during which customer service expert Laurie Guest will reveal practical, low-cost ways to elevate patient experience, strengthen community loyalty, and create the kind of memorable service that keeps customers returning time and again. Community pharmacy achieved a significant win this year, but there’s still more to accomplish.
