Upcoming NCPA Events for Pharmacy Teams: July and August 2026

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (July 7, 2026) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming online events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:

• July 7 – Webinar on preparing for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ACCESS model.This new model translates pharmacy care into measurable outcomes and aligns payment to the value pharmacies deliver. This session will show pharmacies what they must do to be ready. Learn more and register.
• July 14 – The Scripts You're Losing: How AI Prior Auth Is Closing Retail Pharmacy's Fill Rate Gap webinar, part of our Business Booster Series presented by NCPA corporate supporters. During this session, Develop Health will cover how AI handles prior authorization workload, effects on fill rate and patient retention, and why PA resolution speed is becoming so important. • Aug. 24 – Registration deadline for the Diabetes Accreditation Boot Camp. The NCPA Innovation Center and PharmFurther offer this turnkey online course to help prepare participants for diabetes self-management education accreditation in six weeks or less so they can bill Medicare and other payers for diabetes education they’re probably already providing. Ongoing:

• Encouraging community pharmacy teams to invite their federal representatives for a pharmacy visit during the August and October in-district work periods. Community pharmacy achieved a significant win this year, but there’s still more to accomplish. This important initiative will push for progress and keep community pharmacy on the minds of members of Congress. Learn more and sign up to participate.
• Registration is open for the Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs being held in Kansas City, Mo., ahead of the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention. These courses will cover fundamentals of pharmacy ownership, real-world applications for artificial intelligence, long-term care pharmacy at home, and ways to advance existing LTC pharmacy services. • Registration is open for the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention and Expo. The convention, which will be held Oct. 3-6 in Kansas City, Mo., is the premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams.
