PRESS RELEASE

Arlington, Va. —Now in its third year, the 2015 National Association of Chain Drug Stoires (NACDS) Total Store Expo will kick off this coming weekend in Denver, Colorado. Bringing together more than 5,600 retailers and suppliers for four days of innovative programming and exhibits, the NACDS Total Store Expo will deliver highly-personalized business opportunities and future vision to the Colorado Convention Center, August 22-25.

An unparalleled trade show, the NACDS Total Store Expo offers innovative resources and top-notch programming enabling business partners to work together creatively across departments and functions, with an eye toward the entire store.

Demonstrating the value and popularity of this highly-awaited industry trade show, the NACDS Total Store Expo exhibit hall space sold out last month. However, online registration is still open for retail and supplier companies that may wish to send additional members of their team to the trade show.

"What makes the NACDS Total Store Expo unique is the personalization that goes into making this a meaningful, compelling and valuable experience that extends well-beyond the four days in Denver," said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE. "The trade show's innovative nature builds on NACDS' reputation for providing cutting-edge events that focuses-in on retailers' and suppliers' needs. We look forward to a highly-successful event."

As registered attendees make final preparations for this high-energy trade show, NACDS has developed state-of-the art online and mobile resources to help attendees hit the ground running. The NACDS Total Store Expo website, mobile app and NACDS-TV all offer tactical resources including video tutorials, checklists, online planning tools and other tools to maximize the trade show opportunities for every attendee.

Programming for the NACDS Total Store Expo drives success for attendees. Here are the highlights not to be missed:

Business Program: Attendees will have access to these exclusive opportunities to hear from key industry leaders on key industry issues, as well as high-caliber keynote speakers addressing relevant and timely topics.

In his remarks, Brokaw will impart his experiences in telling the news over the last several decades, as well as personal life lessons from his powerful new memoir.

Randy Edeker, chairman, chief executive officer and president, Hy-Vee Inc. and chairman of the NACDS board of directors, will highlight — from a CEO's perspective - the importance of retailer-supplier collaboration in an industry that continues to evolve and innovate rapidly during the morning Business Program on Sunday, August 23.

Steve Anderson, president and chief executive officer, NACDS, will emphasize the unique opportunities for retailers and suppliers to work together within the current operating environment and within NACDS during the morning Business Program on Sunday, August 23.

Meet the Retailer: Meet the Retailer is one of the most acclaimed components of the NACDS Total Store Expo. Suppliers have the opportunity to hear directly from retailers about how-to do business together. These sessions will take place concurrently on Saturday, August 22 from 11:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. in meeting rooms 401 and 403 on the lobby level of the Convention Center.

Please note these sessions are for exhibitors only, and are not open to media.

Product Showcase:

Attendees do not have to wait until the start of the NACDS Total Store Expo to view the latest products that will be exhibited during the trade show. The virtual Product Showcase can be viewed electronically now. Onsite at the NACDS Total Store Expo, the premium location of these glass-enclosed cases offer exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their latest products as retailers conduct business on the exhibit floor throughout the show.

Vision 2026: Vision 2026 will provide attendees with a glimpse of "what comes next" in the industry through technology platforms, displays and interactive experiences. This year's NACDS partners are Anthony International, EZface, Footmarks, inMarket, Kantar Retail, Menasha, Nielsen and Provision Interactive Technologies. Accessible to all attendees, this innovative exhibit will be located at the entrance to the exhibit floor during the four-day trade show.

For members of the print and broadcast media: the NACDS Total Store Expo offers countless opportunities to develop story lines about new and existing companies and products found in retail stores. The Online Press Room is the go-to resource to start that discovery process. Suppliers and manufacturers have already begun to post news releases on the products they will be exhibiting in this virtual press room. The Online Press Room is available for all members of the media to access before, during and after Total Store Expo.
