Reports form ACC 03: Advances in Lipid Management

Physicians, nurses, and other health care providers from the United States and around the world gathered in Chicago, March 30 to April 2, 2003, for the 52nd Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology. Identification of patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease, advances in lipid-lowering therapy, and modification of other cardiovascular risk factors were discussed at symposia and oral and poster sessions. Highlights of these sessions as well as a commentary on the clinical implications of these new findings are presented here.
