Pet Peeves (June 2018)
Read about lazy coworkers, insurance miscommunications, and more pet peeves.
DOGGONE IT
When patients bring nonservice dogs into the pharmacy; not that I’m unhappy seeing a dog during the workday, but I always feel like a jerk telling patients that their furry friends aren’t allowed in the building.
FOILED AGAIN
Coworkers who poke a hole in the foil of a stock bottle instead of actually removing the foil.
COPAY MISCOMMUNICATION
When I tell patients that they owe us a small co-pay for a prescription and they insist that their doctor told them it would be free.
BLISSFUL IGNORANCE
Patients who ask my for advice and then ignore me when I tell them something they don’t want to hear.
