PRESS RELEASE

Arlington, Va. —Emphasizing the importance of strategic pharmacy educational programming and advancing overall patient health, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) announces the selection of Kathleen Wolff as the director, development with NACDS; and director, advancement and strategic partnerships with the NACDS Foundation.

Wolff began her new positions on August 10. She will report to Kathleen Jaeger, senior vice president of pharmacy care and patient advocacy, and president of the NACDS Foundation.

In her role with NACDS, Wolff will assist with building out the association's expanding educational platform, including programs on point of care testing.

In her role with the NACDS Foundation, Wolff will serve as the leader for development and deliver a multi-year revenue plan that aligns with the Foundation's strategic plan and mission. In so doing, she will develop and execute a fundraising strategy - including for the annual NACDS Foundation Dinner - to further advance patient care. She also will establish grant and scholarship programs to further grow academic opportunities with colleges and schools of pharmacy.

Prior to joining NACDS, Wolff served most recently with the Specialty Pharma Education Center, and held previous positions with the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy and the Generic Pharmaceutical Association. Earlier in her career, Wolff worked in broadcast media as a correspondent with ABC News at the network's bureau in Chicago, Illinois and at Fox News Channel in New York City, New York.

"We are pleased to welcome Kathleen to the NACDS and NACDS Foundation teams," said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE. "Kathleen's diverse background in pharmacy makes her uniquely qualified to further enhance NACDS' already-robust pharmacy education programs. Her leadership in expanding financial and philanthropic opportunities will be essential in advancing the mission of the NACDS Foundation."

Wolff earned her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University, and her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.
