OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Nasacort
Indication: Nasacort offers temporary relief of allergy symptoms, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy and runny nose.
Insight:
- Triamcinolone acetonide 55 mcg.
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
- Directions: Two sprays in each nostril, once or twice a day as directed by a physician.
- Store between 68 and 77 degrees.
- Report any unusual adverse effects, such as vision change or respiratory distress.
