OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Alka-Seltzer

Indication: Alka-Seltzer relieves heartburn, upset stomach, and acid indigestion.

Insight:

  • A mixture of sodium bicarbonate and aspirin.
  • May also help with pain from indigestion.
  • Comes in tablet form.
  • No flavor.
  • Contains aspirin 325 mg, citric acid 10 (1)00mg, sodium bicarbonate 1916 mg.
