Indication: Diphenhydramine (Banophen) is an antihistamine that temporarily relieves the symptoms of upper respiratory allergies, hay fever, and the common cold.

- Dosing: Take diphenhydramine every 4-6 hours.

- Adverse events: Drowsiness,
dizziness ,constipation ,stomach upset,blurred vision , ordry mouth /nose/throat may occur. - Mechanism of action: This medication works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that the body makes during an allergic reaction.
