Can You Read These Rxs?
Dilesh Patel, RPh, received this prescription at Rite Aid pharmacy #797 in Merchantville, New Jersey. Patel said he had “no idea” what the script said, so he and his colleagues faxed it back to the physician’s office with a note that said “CANNOT READ.” When the physician faxed back the answer, they realized they never would have guessed the treatment prescribed by this surprising script.
Can you?
This prescription was presented for filling at the CVS pharmacy in Cornwall, New York. On duty at the time was Ira Green, RPh, who had to make a phone call to the physician’s office for clarification.
