2015 Next-Generation PharmacistTM Awards: Nominations Now Open

The 6th annual Next-Generation PharmacistTM awards program, presented by Pharmacy Times in collaboration with Parata Systems, is now open for nominations.

The 6th annual Next-Generation PharmacistTM awards program, presented by Pharmacy Times in collaboration with Parata Systems, is now open for nominations.

This year’s categories include the new Health-System Pharmacist of the Year award, presented to a pharmacist who works in a health-system setting, such as a hospital, long-term care facility, home care, or a health maintenance organization, and has demonstrated improvements in the coordination of care.

The 2015 categories open for nominations are:

  • Civic Leader
  • Entrepreneur
  • Future Pharmacist
  • Health-System Pharmacist
  • Lifetime Leadership
  • Military Pharmacist
  • Patient Care Provider
  • Rising Star
  • Specialty Pharmacist
  • Technician
  • Technology Innovator

The 2015 Next-Generation PharmacistTM awards will be presented on August 6, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. A winner in 1 of the pharmacist categories will be selected to receive the program’s highest honor—the 2015 Next-Generation Pharmacist award—which recognizes a pharmacist with an exceptional vision for pharmacy and the pharmacy industry. Nominations will be evaluated by an independent panel of esteemed judges, chaired by Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief Fred M. Eckel, RPh, MS.

Nominations can be submitted at www.nextgenerationpharmacist.com. Entries can be submitted online or via mail through April 14, 2015.
