MEDVEDEFF RECEIVES PHARMACY LEADERSHIP AWARD
David A. Medvedeff, PharmD, MBA, has been recognized as a leader in the pharmacy industry. His example has earned him the 2007 Albert B. Prescott Pharmacy Leadership Award.
Presented recently at the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting and Exposition, the award recognizes outstanding leadership by a young pharmacist with no more than 10 years of career experience. The award is given by the Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute (PLEI).
“David has excelled as a leader in the pharmacy industry and the field of health information technology. He has championed key initiatives that have allowed his organization to focus its expertise on the identification, development, and implementation of innovative technologies and services that positively impact the quality of care and medication utilization process,” said Mary L. Euler, PharmD, PLEI board of directors chair and chair of the 2007 Prescott Selection Committee.
Dr. Medvedeff has served as president of Informed Decisions, a Gold Standard company, since 2005, and as Gold Standard’s vice president of clinical programs. He also serves as an associate clinical professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida.
