Agreement Provides Funding for Graduate Education
The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) has enteredinto an agreement with Cardinal Health to help support educational opportunitiesin the pharmaceutical sciences. The partnership establishes funding for 300graduate and postdoctoral students toward membership in the association.
"One of the best ways AAPS can advance the future direction of the pharmaceuticalsciences is to actively recruit and involve the students of today," saidAAPS President Mario Rocci, PhD.
AAPS has >1200 student and 240 postdoctoral members and supports 34chapters at Schools of Pharmacy in the United States and Canada. The AAPSchapters allow students to increase their awareness of career opportunities in thepharmaceutical sciences and gain access to educational opportunities.
