Pooja Patel, PharmD

Pooja Patel, PharmD, is a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy (USFCOP) and an ambulatory care pharmacist at Tampa General Medical Group, where her primary clinical focus is chronic disease management. She received her PharmD from MCPHS University and completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with MCPHS University/Walgreens in Boston, Massachusetts. At USFCOP, Dr. Patel co-coordinates Pharmaceutical Skills Lab for P2 students and Non-Prescription and Herbal Therapies for P3 students. She is in the process of creating an Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Elective that will be offered in spring 2016.
