The Changing Role of Pharmacy Technicians Over the Next Several Months

Pharmacies are so much more attuned to being able to use that technician to the top of his or her license and credential.

Nancy Lyons, VP, Chief Pharmacy Officer, Healthmart, McKesson, spoke to Pharmacy Times about pharmacy technicians and their role post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Lyons: What the experience that we gained coming out of COVID-19…I think all the pharmacies are so much more attuned to being able to use that technician to the top of his or her license and credential to allow the pharmacist to move to the top of her or his licensed credential.
