Advanced Remote Monitoring System

Isensix Inc (San Diego, Calif) recently launched the Advanced Remote Monitoring System (ARMS). This system is designed to improve the safety of stored blood products, reagents, clinical samples, and medical products and to simplify compliance procedures through automation. It features a simple user interface accessible from any Web browser. The system is scalable to efficiently provide coverage of monitored units in large campus environments, as well as in single laboratories. The real-time alert capabilities through e-mail, pager, mobile phone text, and escalation notification services keep technicians and management informed of any alarm conditions detected. ARMS has been installed in pharmacies, laboratories, blood banks, research labs, and critical care areas such as emergency rooms and operating rooms. For more information, visit www.isensix.com, or call 866-634-2767.
