Educational Objectives

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Examine the latest Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices guideline recommendations to properly guide at-risk patients
  • Demonstrate the value of the protection offered by prophylactic administration of the serogroup B meningococcal (MenB) vaccine to persons at risk of MenB infection
  • Explain a comprehensive vaccination strategy and create measures for effective screening and administration of MenB
  • Identify the pharmacist’s role in improving immunization rates for MenB
