2013 Next-Generation Pharmacist Awards: Meet the Winners!

Welcome to the 2013 Next-Generation PharmacistTM Awards category winners—and announcing the 2013 Next-Generation Pharmacist! Here are the 10 award category winners in this prestigious awards program that honors pharmacists, student pharmacists, and technicians who define the future of the industry.

Now in its fourth year, the Next-Generation PharmacistTM Awards recognize pharmacy leaders across a wide range of practice settings. The program attracted more than 400 nominations from 45 states and Guam. All entries were reviewed by an independent panel of esteemed judges, chaired by Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief Fred M. Eckel, RPh, MS.

The winner of the 2013 Next-Generation Pharmacist of the YearTM Award and the Patient Care Provider of the Year Award is Amy Bachyrycz, PharmD, of Walgreens Patient Care Center and the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in Albuquerque, NM.
