When Lori VanDevender, PharmD, and Nicole Wheelus, CPhT, of CVS Pharmacy in Talladega, Alabama, got this prescription, the drug name and directions gave them trouble. They were especially stumped by the "W" on this scribbled Rx, and had to call the nurse, who straightened it out.

Mysterious scribblings abound in this prescription submitted by Tina Stringer, RPh, of Bowen Pharmacy in Dothan, Alabama. Stringer and her team tried to figure it out on their own, but with so many half-written, sideways letters, this script was a physician call waiting to happen,
