ScriptPro's Technology Evaluation Guide Vol. 11 for Workflow Systems assists pharmacy professionals in the comparing and evaluating of Workflow Systems.
The Guide for workflow is designed with the same purpose as the previously released Technology Evaluation Guide for Robotic Prescription Dispensing Systems. It will help the pharmacist boil down the process of finding the right automation. The Guide for workflow is a workbook that presents tables outlining key questions to ask during the automation selection process. Among the benefits of adding automation to a pharmacy are improving the business by lowering operating costs, reducing the potential for errors, and providing time for counseling and customer service. The Guides for Workflow Systems and Robotic Prescription Dispensing Systems distill the information into easy to understand sections.
Investing in automation factors include: safety, accuracy, reliability, software interface, implementation, and vendor service and support. With the increasing number of automation products available, many pharmacy operators are confused about what they need and should expect from the automated dispensing systems and the vendors that stand behind them.
