MammoReportPlus
Siemens Medical Solutions (Malvern, Pa) recently received FDA approval for MammoReportPlus, a mammography soft-copy reporting workstation. The approval allows for the processing of digital computer-aided images and mammograms from approved vendors, expanded indications for multimodality viewing, and use with FDA-cleared monitors for the interpretation of lossless compressed images. Furthermore, MammoReportPlus is now Windows-based, allowing it to run on syngo?the software platform that delivers powerful networking and postprocessing capabilities. MammoReportPlus works in conjunction with Siemens MAMMOMAT Novation to provide a thorough system solution for clinical processes in mammography. MammoReportPlus features advanced hanging protocols that permit the viewing of images and previous examinations from all modalities. The system also uses 2D tools such as distance measuring, magnifications, and postprocessing for improved workflow. For more information, visit www.siemens.com.
