NOVEMBER 01, 2004

The Allergy & Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics (AANMA) has a new resource available for individuals with allergic asthma? asthma triggered by exposure to allergens like pollen and mold, as opposed to irritants like exercise and weather. The AANMA partnered with William Berger, MD, MBA, to create the Allergic Asthma for Dummies book.

The book features easy-to-use information to help individuals recognize allergic asthma symptoms, identify their triggers, and create a personalized allergic asthma management plan with their physician. Furthermore, the book has helpful tips for patients on getting a physician's diagnosis and handling emergencies. To obtain the free resource, visit www.breatherville.org, or call 800-878-4403.
