In honor of surpassing the 1-million- prescription mark for the acne medication Duac Topical Gel (1% clindamycin and 5% benzoyl peroxide [BP]), manufacturer Stiefel Laboratories Inc has made a $10,000 donation to Camp Discovery. The summer camp, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), is for young individuals with a serious skin condition.

"We are greatly appreciative of Stiefel's generous donation to this extremely worthy cause. It is our goal to increase the number of campers and, ultimately, camps for children and teens with skin disorders," said Clay Cockerell, MD, president-elect of the AAD, regarding the donation.
