Wal-Mart is making it easier for customers to fill prescriptions by expanding its pharmacy services to include 24-hour pharmacies. Wal-Mart is beginning its expansion in Neighborhood Markets and a supercenter pharmacy in Arkansas and Texas. The Neighborhood Markets are located in Bentonville, Ark, and Arlington, Fort Worth, and Mesquite, Tex, and the supercenter is in Plano, Tex.

"We're going to concentrate on these 5 pharmacies and work to perfect our model," said Ron Chomiuk, Wal-Mart's vice president of pharmacy operations. "These facilities will allow us to gather feedback from our customers and our associates on what we're doing right and how we can further enhance this concept."
