Web Site Offers "Ask the Pharmacist"
The American Diabetes Association has partnered with Rite Aid Corp to add an "Ask the Pharmacist" feature to its Web site (www.diabetes.org). This new affiliation provides diabetes patients an opportunity to get expert advice from specially trained Rite Aid pharmacists at the click of a mouse. Also, "Ask the Pharmacist" can be accessed from Rite Aid's own diabetes Web site (www.riteaiddiabetes.com), which allows patients to receive customized information based on their current stage of diabetes. With the "Ask the Pharmacist" link, patients can e-mail a Rite Aid pharmacist to receive a prompt and personal response to questions and concerns without having to leave their home.
