Pharmacy Times Launches Redesign and Editorial Enhancements
Industry’s Leading Publication Renews Commitment to Explore Pharmacy’s Future
Plainsboro, NJ (June 4, 2012)—Pharmacists around the country will notice a big change in the industry’s leading journal, beginning with its May 2012 issue. Pharmacy Times has redesigned its publication and unveiled exciting new content features for readers.
“As pharmacy’s most comprehensive publication, we have a responsibility to stay ahead of emerging issues and trends,” said Tighe Blazier, president of Pharmacy Times. “The new Pharmacy Times will bring you everything you’ve come to expect—and more.”
Beginning with the May 2012 issue, readers will discover a refreshed cover design that now offers a more robust introduction to each issue, which is well-suited for the busy pharmacist. The cover now features more information about what readers can find inside, including highlighted topics, Strategic Alliance Partner spotlights, and important industry dates.
Behind the cover, Pharmacy Times readers will find several new editorial enhancements including Frontiers in Pharmacy—a cutting-edge examination of education and technology trends, and a look at how pharmacists are adapting to ever-evolving practice models.
In addition, there are more new sections, including Medication Therapy Management Today and Brown Bag Consult, two new counseling departments that highlight the significant role pharmacists play in daily patient care and medication compliance. To stay on top of online resources, Health App Wrap reviews the latest apps available for pharmacists and patients. The redesigned Interactives department gives pharmacists the chance to test their practical skills in Can You Read These Rxs?, Case Studies, and Pet Peeves.
“We’re thrilled to bring pharmacists these improvements right to their fingertips,” said Blazier. “In addition, Pharmacy Times is committed to maintaining its exceptional value for advertisers, and takes every step necessary to ensure its leadership position remains unchallenged.”
Pharmacy Times is bringing these enhancements to its website, adding all the new content and its updated look and feel. In addition to upgrading the website’s structure and navigation, now provides pharmacists even easier access to all of its articles, blogs, exclusive online content, and multimedia resources. This pharmacy information hub also includes enhanced integration with Facebook and Twitter.
