College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona
The pharmacy career educational opportunities at the University of Arizona are very impressive, but the real allure here for those that want to enjoy outdoor adventures while studying pharmaceutical fields is the Outdoor Adventures Program.
This program is available for students at the University of Arizona and provides them with the chance to road trip to the Grand Canyon, hike and camp all over the local national parks, and even surf at the San Onofre Beach. Combine all that with picture-perfect year-round weather, amazing outdoor activities, and some of the world's best golf, and it's easy to see why so many professional pharmacists start off their careers here at the University of Arizona.
UGA College of Pharmacy, University of Georgia
Whether you want to go snorkeling in the Crystal River region of Florida (just a stone's throw away from the UGA campus) to look for manatees or go paddle boarding while participating in yoga out on lake Chapman, hiking through the Appalachian Trail, or enjoying any of the other thousands of outdoor activities and opportunities available to you GA students, the University of Georgia is a very popular spot for outdoor enthusiast pharmacy students.
Certainly one of the most respected school in the United States, the student recreational activities available here have been ranked number one in the country for 10 years straight , and the competition isn't even close.
No other school in the United States can boast an on-campus 38 acre arboretum that can be fully explored by students 100% free of charge and also boast such close proximity to major National Forest land.
Cornell College
Cornell has a pre-pharmacy program and is home to the largest indoor rock climbing wall in the United States, more than 150 waterfalls in the city of Ithaca alone, and a tree climbing club, amongst so many other outdoor activities. Cornell is a world-class educational facility and an excellent school for students to get their foundational education.
Physical education classes at Cornell are mandatory, with more than 200 different ones available. From climbing in caves to adventuring through the gorges in Ithaca to playing golf, camping, sailing, and so much more, outdoor enthusiasts will get their fill when they enroll at Cornell.
University of Colorado at Boulder, School of Pharmacy
The sheer volume of outdoor adventure opportunities available in Boulder, Colorado really help to put this school over the top.
Near the Rocky Mountains, you'll have outdoor opportunities available all year round. Skiing in the winter, camping and hiking in the summer, taking in days and nights at the lake, and always surrounded by millions of stars every single night of the year, it just doesn't get much better than the University of Colorado at Boulder, for your pharmaceutical education or the outdoor adventures you'll be doing anyway!
