Article

Pharmacy school can be hard- at times, we can even doubt ourselves. Here are 4 famous failures to inspire you to keep going!

Pharmacy school can be hard: sometimes we fall short of the grade we expected, the outcome on a project was not as successful as we thought it would be, the list can go on and on. If we add in the setbacks that life outside of pharmacy school sometimes throws at us, at times we can even doubt ourselves:

I should be doing better than this.

Am I even cut out for pharmacy at all?

What if I don't make it.

As many of us Type-A's strive for success, a lot of times we can turn out to be our own worst enemy! We all hit that point in pharmacy school where we just feel like it's rock bottom. Here are 4 stories from some of the biggest names in history who hit rock bottom in their lives- I am willing to bet you know their name because THEY DID NOT QUIT:

Michael Jordan

After being cut from his high school basketball team, he went home, locked himself in his room, and cried.

Steve Jobs

At 30 years old, Steve was devastated after being fired from the company he himself started.

Albert Einstein

Young Al was unable to speak until he was nearly 4 years old. His own teachers commented on him that he "would never amount to much."

Walt Disney

In his early years, Walt was fired from his job at a newspaper because he was "lacking imagination," "having no original ideas."

Failure, setbacks, hitting that point where people tell you that you are not good enough, this is part of the process. Keep going and NEVER QUIT!
