MARCH 24, 2017

Transcript

"There are many different abuse-deterrent formulations. They work in different ways. Some of them are abuse-deterrent to prevent IV drug use, others are abuse-deterrent to prevent snorting. Some of them have both properties, some of them can’t be easily crushed. Some of them have naltrexone in them so it blocks the receptors. There are all different kinds of abuse-deterrent formulations and pharmacists need to be familiar with those formulations."
