Can You Read These Rxs?
Registered Pharmacist Javier Cosme and Donna Carter, CPhT, of Walgreens in Chicago, Illinois, were perplexed when the patient brought this prescription into the pharmacy. Because the patient was going to wait at the pharmacy for this prescription to be filled, the staff called the prescribing physician’s office for clarification. The nurse at the physician’s office was able to verify the script quickly. Do you know what medication is being prescribed?
Matt Robinson, PharmD, of Realo Discount Drugs Stores Inc in New Bern, North Carolina, was only able to decipher fragments of this prescription. After several attempts at trying to unscramble the physician’s handwriting, Robinson called the physician’s office for assistance. It took several hours for the doctor’s office to call back with the information. Can you figure out this prescription?
