Karen M. Crotty, CPhT, of F.Z. Webb & Sons Pharmacy in Smithville, Tenn, was unsure what drug was being prescribed when the patient presented this script at the pharmacy counter. Crotty conferred with the patient about what medication was being ordered. The patient, however, did not know. Crotty then called the prescribing physician's office for help.
