PHARMACY ASSOCIATIONS LAUNCH RXWIKI.COM

SEPTEMBER 01, 2007
Individuals wanting to know more about their medications can now turn to a new Web 2.0 medication therapy management encyclopedia, written and edited by pharmacists.

The free Web site (www.RxWiki.com) publishes pharmaceutical, OTC, and nutraceutical medication information. The site also serves as a community network for pharmacists to create and share information for their patients and consumers at large, and to work together in the advancement of medication therapy management. Features include medication content created by authorized pharmacists, updated articles from leading medical news services via RSS content syndication, and a toolbar providing search capabilities, as well as timely information and links to other sources.

The National Community Pharmacists Association, the American Pharmacists Association, the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations, and the Mirixa Corp have launched the site.
