McKesson recently added a component to its Health Across America: Medicare Wire program for pharmacists. The Web-based Medicare Part D information center (http://supply.mckesson.com/portal/site/wire) provides enrollment decision tools pharmacists can use when educating patients about their drug plan options. The Web site also features background information about the drug benefit, advice for conducting outreach events, frequently asked questions for pharmacists and patients, and timelines with important implementation milestones.
